Maulik Paresh Bhai Bhatt is the founder and CEO of PawMate Technologies, an Ahmedabad-headquartered startup building India's most loved dog community. He founded PawMate in 2026 with a single conviction — that technology should bring pet parents closer to each other and to their pets, not further apart.
Born and raised in Gujarat, Maulik is a lifelong dog lover. His co-founder in spirit is Joy, a Beagle whose 10 PM alarm for evening walks inspired the earliest sketches of PawMate. Where most founders start with market research, Maulik started with a leash and a curious Beagle pulling him toward every dog in the neighbourhood.
PawMate is built to solve the everyday problems Indian pet parents face: finding trustworthy playmates for their dogs, discovering verified pet shops and vets nearby, hiring safe dog walkers & sitters, tracking vaccinations, and joining a warm community that celebrates every wagging tail. Under Maulik's leadership, the platform launched with support for 13 Indian languages, verified partner listings for pet shops and vet clinics, and a marketplace of dog walkers called PawJobs.
Maulik lives in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and can most often be found with Joy curled up under his desk — the unofficial VP of Emotional Support at PawMate.
